E g: Are you from Japan? he asked me.
=He asked me if/whether I'm from Japan.
③ 当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时，连接词就用原来的疑问词，但从句一定要注意用陈述语序。
E g: When did he leave for Japan ?could you tell me?
=Could you tell me when he left for Japan?
2、宾语从句的语序：
在宾语从句中，无论主句是陈述句还是疑问句，从句一律要用陈述语序。即主语，谓语的顺序。
Do you know what Kate's e-mail address is?
He asked me whose book this is.
The doctor asked me what was wrong.
3、宾语从句的时态：
① 若主句是现在的某种时态（一般现在时，现在进行时，现在完成时，）那么宾语从句的时态可根据实际情况而定。
I remember he gave me a book yesterday.
He has told me that he will leave for New York tomorrow.
② 主句是过去的某种时态（一般过去时，过去进行时，）那么从句一定要用过去的某种时态（一般过去时，过去进行时，过去将来时，过去完成时）
He told me that he would take part in the high jump.
He asked me if I had taken his soap.
③ 若宾语从句表示的是客观事实或真理时，即使主句是过去时，从句也要用一般现在时。
He told me that the earth goes round the sun.(真理）
He said that Yao Ming is much taller than him.（事实）
