Teaching Procedures:

Step1.Lead-in

Ask the students to enjoy a piece of music “Rhythm of the rain” and complete the sentences. They are related to different tenses.

Step2 . Revision (look, think and say)

Ask the students to draw a mind map about six tenses.

Note1: when, until, as soon as等引导的时间状语从句和if 引导的条件状语从句中,若主句是将来时或祈使句,从句则要用一般现在时表示将来(主将从现)。

If it __________(rain) tomorrow, we’ll have a picnic.

Call me as soon as he_______ (arrive)in Guangdong, my baby.

Note2: 表示位置移动的词如come, go, leave, arrive, fly等,常用现在进行时表将来。

We will go to Beijing by plane.=We__________(fly)to Beijing tomorrow.

Note3: there be的一般将来时结构:there is/are going to be 或者there will be

There _________a film tomorrow morning.

Note4: 短暂性动词die, buy, borrow, begin, arrive用于现在完成时不能与延续性的时间状语连用。

The drowning boy has died.

The drowning boy ______________ for a long time.
