Step 1 Warming up
Show some pictures of famous people one by one to students，and asked “Do you know What his/her name is? ”. Finally, give some pictures about Deng Yaping. Then introduce her to students: She is a famous woman table tennis player, she has won 4 Gold Medals in Olympic Games. And she is reputed as the "Table Tennis Queen" and "Short Giantess".
Today, we are going to learn about Deng together.
Step 2 Presentation
Firstly, let us read the important words and phrases.

Step 3 Listening
Listen for the first time, and chose the best answer.
