四、教学方法
本课基于课程改革的理念,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质。九年级学生有一定的英语基础知识,求知欲很强,所以,本节课讲解的时间很少,主要是训练学生利用任务型及合作式,以教师为辅,学生自主学习的教学原则,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,采用任务型教学法,任务设置以学生活动为主,学生通过思考、讨论、交际和合作等方式,学习和使用语言,完成学习任务。教学环节的设置带有明确,训练学生在学习中获取信息,处理信息和运用信息的能力。
五:教学过程
Step One: Lead in.
Show some pictures about the trains to the class and give them a simple introduction.
Purpose: 1.Get the class to learn something about the industrial revolution.
2. To lead to the Science Museum.
Step Two :Presentation.
Show some pictures about the Science Museum and tell students some information about it.
Purpose: 1.Attract students' interest in museums.
2. Prepare for the next step.
Step Three: Watch and answer.
Get the class to watch the video and fill in the form.
Purpose: 1.Get the class to know some information about Science Museum.
2. Cultivate students' ability of information extraction by watching and listening.
Step Four : Guessing game.
Play a game to guess the meanings of the new words .
Purpose: 1. Learn some new words.
2. Prepare for the careful reading.
Step Five : Read and find.
Get the students to read the passage carefully to find the structures of the article.
Purpose: 1. Learn the way to introduce the museum.
2. Prepare for the writing.
