1. Ask the students some questions:

What’s your favourite book?

2. Show three pictures about Confucius,Shakespeare and Mark Twain. Let them
guess who they are and say something about them?
二、学习新知,听力练习
1. Show some pictures of the new words, let the students say them out quickly.
2. Ask one little teacher to teach the students to read the new words.
3. Read the words in the box. Ask the students to listen to the conversation and
match the words in the box with the people in the pictures. (Activity1).
