In this unit the topic is about famous persons and their great books,Ss have already known something basic about the knowledge in it.The teacher should grasp this great chance to connect their known knowledge to doing the teaching activities

1.A student make the duty report(Encourage Ss to improve their spoken English.)

2.Play a guessing game,ask students to guess who the people are and why they are famous.(To check Ss’ homework:search for some famous writers and their works.)
