Step I:

Lead-in:(2mins)Teacher’s Activities

Show the picture of sports meeting and the picture of ‘Jin Wa’,tell them our sports meeting is coming,we will chose a mascot like‘Jin Wa’.Students’ Activities

Think and talk about their favourite sportsperson.Purpose

以运动会召开征集吉祥物为话题询问学生最喜欢的体育明星是谁。紧扣本模块“运动”的主题,为后面的写作做铺垫。

Step II:

Vocabulary (10mins)

Show them my favourite sportsperson Su Bingtian,and let them fill in the blanks.

Show them my favourite sportsperson Zhang Guowei,and let them fill in the blanks with the correct form of the words.

Show them my favourite sportsperson Wu Dajing and let them translate the sentences.Review the words and expressions in module 8 by doing some exercises.通过向学生介绍我最喜欢的体育明星,让学生从简单的汉译英到稍有难度的翻译句子,由易到难的复习本模块所学的词汇和短语。

Step III:

Grammar

Introduce my favourite sportsperson Liu Xiang,let the quickest student speak the answers out.

Play the micro-course of past simple passive.

Divide the words into 4 groups.

Do a competition between two groups.

Show them my favourite sportsperson Zhang Jike and let them change the verbs into their past participle

Show them my favourite sportsperson Sun Yang and let them change the sentences into their passive voice.Review the text of unit2 and summarize the usage of past simple passive.

Practice the past simple passive by a competition.

Do two exercises:

change the words and the sentences.

通过向学生介绍老师最喜欢的体育人物刘翔。引起学生的共鸣,第二单元已经学过有关刘翔的课文故学生能抢答出老师所提问题,并提炼出语法点-一般过去时的被动语态。

通过播放微课让学生清楚一般过去时的被动语态的用法并通过一个小组竞赛让学生牢记此用法。

通过向学生展示老师最喜欢的体育人物张继科和孙杨继续巩固本模块的语法点,由简单的单词变形上升到改写句子的语态。Step IV:
