Step 3: Students volunteer to share their answers.

Step 1: The teacher presents a picture of Mary, and asks students:
What’s wrong with her?
Step 2: Students volunteer to give the answers.
Step 3: The teacher shows what Mary said: My mother bought me a new hat, and encourages students to guess what’s wrong with her hat.
Step 4: Students volunteer to their guesses.
Step 5: The teacher shows students how to express Mary’s problem with one sentence.

Stage 3: Let’s learn
Step 1: The teacher shows some pictures and asks students to answer some questions.( with PPT): What does he/she like? What kind of book/music/movie/... does he/she like?
Step 2: The teacher helps students to express what they like clearly with one sentence. Like:
She likes reading books that are about history.
Step 3: Students are encouraged to share what they like with the attributive clause.
Use the structure: I like reading books/listening to music/watching movies/... that___________________________.
Step 3: The teacher presents four sentences and asks students to observe what similarities they have. And then, the teacher tells them about what is the attributive clause, antecedent and relative pronoun.
