Step 1 warming up
Teacher: hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you! Today, let’s go on to learn new lesson: M12U2 lanuage in use. First, let’s read an article about Earth hour and answer the following questions.
Q1. What do people do during Earth Hour?
Q2. What do people do this for?
(read the artcle)
Students: 1.people all around the world switch off the lights they do not need.
2.they do this to show their awareness of climate change.
Teacher: People, including scientists, do a lot of things to save the world. However, as a student, it is no use talking about things we can do. We have got to think about things we can do. What can we do?
Students: recycle, reuse and reduce.
