(一)定义: 简单地说,宾语从句是一个或几个从句充当主句中的宾语成分(宾语从句在复合句中作主句的宾语).
三要素构成规则例句引
导
词①当宾语从句是陈述句时,用that 引导(可省略) I know (that) she is a teacher.②当宾语从句是一般疑问句、反意疑问句或选择疑问句时,用if/ whether引导,标点取决于主句. He asks if you are a student.
Could you tell me if it snows in
winter in Australia?③当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时,由连接代词who, what, whom, whose, which和连接副词when, where, why, how引导.标点由主句决定.Please tell me how you go to school.
He asked where I lived.
语序宾语从句要用陈述语序.Do you know where Tom lives?时
态当主句为一般现在时或祈使句时,宾语从句可根据实际情况用所需要的时态. Tom has left for Beijing.
I hear Tom left for Beijing yesterday.
Tom will leave for Beijing. 当主句是一般过去时,宾语从句须用过去的某种时态. She was watching TV this time
yesterday.
Kate said She was going to school soon.

(三) 需注意的问题
1. 如果宾语从句所表达的是客观事实、真理、自然现象、名言、警句、谚语时,即使主句是过去时,从句也用一般现在时.
eg: Our teacher said that January is the first month of the year.
The teacher said that the earth goes around the sun.
My father told me the sun rises in the east.
He said time is money.
She said one and one makes two.
