I Pre-reading
Step 1[操作方式]
课前展示环节，上课领响后，教师邀请两位主持人上场。全班学生以小组为单位，在两名主持人的主持下，进行10分钟以内的英语课前展示，第一个环节是每组一名同学进行板答，主要检测学生复习情况即上节课重点句式的掌握；第二个环节是以抢答的形式进行词汇意思匹配，主要检查学生对本课新词汇的预习情况；第三个环节是Duty Performance，小组表演M5u1对话内容，教师对小组表现和主持人的主持进行点评。
T：Thank Jenny and Jack, you will be perfect English presenters in the future. So keep on studying English. And all the groups did a wonderful job today, especially Group 2, you bring us so much happiness. I will give you another five points and I feel proud of you.
【设计意图】小组展示是我校课堂特色之一，在这个环节我们通过不同小组的多种形式的表演，既对学生的复习和预习起到了检查的作用，又通过小组竞争和表演提升和调动的学生的学习兴趣。小组上台表演，组内同学在准备表演的过程中互帮互助，共同学习和进步，并将这种互助的氛围延伸到课堂新知识的学习上。组内间合作，组外通过课堂发言评比竞争，有效调动学生的学习积极性。
Step 2[操作方式]
师生问好，根据课前展示中的对话表演导入课文主题。并对主题话题开展小讨论。
Ｔ：From the fantastic performance from Group 2, we can know that we should obey some rules when we go walking in the mountain. What rules do you want to give others?
S1: We mustn’t walk too close to the edge of the hill path because we might fall and hurt yourselves.
S2: We have to keep together so we don’t get lost.
S3: We mustn’t go off on our own.
S4: Don’t drink all your water in one go because we may need some later.
