ⅡPractice Role1:a son/daughter

1. Ask students what rules they must obey at home as sons/daughters.

Help students to recall the family rules they have learned using “must /mustn’t /should /shouldn’t/not be allowed to…”

Role2: a visitor to the mountains

2. Ask students what rules they must obey if they are climbing mountains. Help them to recall the rules they’ve learned in Module 4 Unit1.

Lead them to look at the rules of London Indoor Climbing Center, and ask them why we need these rules. (Activity 3 on Page 31) Let students work in pairs and then share the answers with the whole class.

Summarize with students: We make these rules to keep ourselves safe when we travel. Lead students to think that we also need rules to protect the places we visit

Role3: a visitor to the forests

3. Ask students what rules they must obey if they are in the forest as visitors. (Activity 4 on Page 31) Encourage them to say as much as possible.

Say something about family rules.

Retell the rules of climbing and

answer why we need these rules.
