Step 1. Greeting.
T: Hello boys and girls.

复习以前学过的有关数字的单词。(上新课之前,让我们一起来做一个数数的游戏好不好?用英语顺数、倒数1-10)
Step 2.Leading in
出示第一副三只小狗的图片,用以下句型问学生:
T: What are they?
Ss: They are dogs.
出示第二幅五匹马的图片,用下列句型问学生:
T: What are they ?
Ss: They are horses.
T: How many?(是多少的意思,)
Ss: Three.(Good!同学们都去预习了,都知道how many 是什么意思,那么今天这节课我们就来学习Lesson 9 How Many?)
Step 3. New Lessons
1、新授介绍句型 (拿出7支铅笔,问学生 -How many pencils are there?(学生有些可能知道什么意思,他们会回答Seven.当学生回答对了的话,给他们鼓励。T:对,当我们问:有多少...?回答:有多少...时,我们可以用以下的句型进行问答:
呈现句型: -How many +可数名词的复数形式 are there?
-There are + 数字(大于1) +可数名词的复数形式
-There is +a/an/one +可数名词的单数形式
2、利用课文图片课件进行句型操练 -How many +可数名词的复数形式 are there?
-There are + 数字(大于1) +可数名词的复数形式
-There is +a/an/one +可数名词的单数形式
T: How many monkeys are there?
Ss: Ten./There are ten monkeys.
T: How many fish are there?
Ss There are five fish.
T: How many pandas are there?
Ss: There are three pandas.
