Step1. Warm-up
Greet to my students and play a song: How Do You Feel? by multi media.
When the song is over, I will ask: Do you like this song? If you like it, let's learn the new words and sentences of this lesson at first. (设计意图: 营造活跃轻松的课前气氛,使学生带着积极的心态投入到学习中去,英文歌曲也为下面的学习做铺垫
Step 2 Presentation of the new words
Firstly, I will lead to the new words by actions, like this: How do I feel? ( make an action of cold ) Students will say cold in Chinese, then I write the word on the blackboard, and lead them to read it: cold, cold. Then How do I feel now? (make an action of hot). I will teach happy, tired, and sad in this way.
Secondly, I will lead to read all the new words several times. After that, students read the new words after the radiao,
Thirdly, show pictures of the feelings by multimedia to consolidate the words.
Step3. Presentation of the new sentences “Just now, You did a good job, I am so proud of you. Now how do you feel? ”And then, write the new sentences: A: How do you feel?
B: I feel____. I lead them to read the sentences three times. To make the students master the sentences better and arouse their interests, I design a chant, from slow to quick. Like this: How--do you --feel? I –feel—cold. Students read it after me at first, and then they do it in groups. Step4. Consolidation
At last, we'll sing the song “How Do You Feel” together to the music. Through this song, the students will consolidate the new words and the new sentence patterns further, and they can also experience the fun in the English learning. (设计意图:这四个步骤,通过课件、游戏等方法,使学生能够学习并掌握本节课的单词句型,帮助学生巩固已学知识。而且学生也能充分体验到英语学习的快乐。)
Step 5 Homework
As for the homework, I will ask the students to sing the song to their parents.
