3、Show two pictures of sandstorms and lead in 1a

T: By the way, what’s the weather like today?

Ss: It’s sunny.

T: The weather is good here. But the weather in Beijing is not as good as

here. Look at the pictures. What’s happening in Beijing?

Ss: Sandstorms.

T: Yes. What do you think of sandstorm?

Ss: It’s bad.

T: Do you know how sandstorms come into being? How can that affect the weather?
