Step1. Warm up and lead in
1. Sing a song: I love you, you love me
2. Review Li Ming’s family and talk about it.
设计意图:歌曲中是李明一家,通过复习李明一家过渡到詹尼一家的学习。
Step2. New concepts
1. Show a picture of Jenny’s family and watch a video with three questions:
Who are they?
What are their names?
What do they do?
设计意图:带着问题看视频,在寻找答案的同时通过思维图架起课文脉络。
Meet Jenny’s family.
Ss know about Jenny, so start with “Jenny”. Then others’ relationships with Jenny,their names and jobs.
When meeting Jenny’s family members, use these following patterns:
He’s/ She’s Jenny’s .......
He’s/ She’s a .......
His/ Her name is .......
Learning “policeman, bus driver, worker” by phonics and practicing them in sentences.
