Step One:Greeting & warming up.

T:How are you?

S: I am fine.Thank you .And you?

T: I am fine ,too. Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you,too.

Lead students to look at the screen and ask:Do you like animals?(Yes)so let 's sing a song about animals with actions.

Step Two: presentation & practice

Show the key words about “ cat, dog,duck, chicken”.

activity 1: game (Simon says)

activity 2:chant:

cat,cat,it's a cat .“ Meow !Meow !Meow!”

dog ,dog,it's a dog.“Woof ! Woof ! Woof!”

duck,duck,it's a duck.“Quack! Quack! Quack!”

chicken,chicken, It's a chicken .“Cluck!Cluck!Cluck!”

(设计意图:通过Simon says游戏让学生戴上头饰,体验小动物的活泼可爱,在集体拼读中操练单词;自编Chant,在轻松愉悦的歌谣说唱中再次巩固新单词。)
