Step 1 Warming up
Let’s sing.播放歌曲:Big and small 活跃气氛,把学生自然引到英语的学习氛围中。
Play a game.
Greeting
Show animals’ pictures: Look and say,what can you see? I can see a/an_________
利用对话复习学过的动物单词。
接着问What do they eat?
Tigers eat meat.
Cats eat fish.
Elephants eat bananas.
The rabbit wants to eat carrots.
出示单词卡片want to学生理解并领读。
But where is my carrot?
Oh, here it is. Pull! Pull! Pull the carrot out.
出示单词卡片pull……out领读。
Who can help me? Pull! Pull! Pull the carrot out. (学生做动作理解pull……out)

1. 出示图片Look! The wolf wants to eat sheep.

学生看故事视频,导入课题。
设计意图:亲切的问候拉近师生间的距离,营造和谐氛围。使学生尽快融入到英语课堂中来。同时,也复习了本单元的有关动物的单词。学生看故事视频,引出本课主题 “The Clever Monkey”
