Step 1 Lead-in
Before the class, play a game. Let the students guess some words of the animals we’ve learned. Say the names of the animals and spell them.
For example,
T: I live in the tree. I’m thin. I eat bananas. Who am I?
S1: I’m a monkey! M-O-N-K-E-Y!
T: Good! What color is the monkey?
S1: It’s brown.
T: I like the monkey. Do you like the monkey?
S1: Yes!
T: Good. Today we’re going to learn lesson 12---The Clever Monkey.
Step 2 Story Time

Students watch a video about the story, at the same time, the teacher tell the story emotionally.
