T:出示自行车在学校门口的照片，告诉学生：
This is our school. This is a bike.
I go to school by bike.读单词bike.读句子。
bike, like, Mike, rice, nice, kite
by表示“乘坐”的含义。
出示其他交通工具的图片，介绍：bus, car, taxi
Bus, but, cup, duck, cut
Car, far, farm, park,
Taxi= cab,
教师与学生一起讨论一些与这些交通工具有关的话题，如：
Do you have a bike? Is it new or old? What colour is it? Which bus do you know? No.5 Bus,
