Step 2. Show some pictures to learn the usage of present continuous tense to express the future, then students work pair to practice.
Examples: (1)She is flying to Disneyland.
(2)He is traveling to Canada.
(3)He is coming home in twenty minutes.
Step 3. Show the picture of 1a and guess what are they talking about?
Step 4. Listen to 1a and answer some questions.
Step 5. Listen to 1a again and number the pictures(1b).
