Step1: Class opening and review

2.Greeting
3.Play a game.(Who Is Fast?)
Ask the students to look at the numbers and read it.
Step2:New concepts.
1.Ask and answer.
T: I’m 34 years old. How old are you?
S1: I’m...years old.
S2: I’m...years old.
S3: I’m...years old. How old are you?
S4: I’m...years old.
T : How old is he/she?
Ss: He/She is...years old.
2. Guessing.
Show some pictures and ask them to guess their ages.
T : How old is he/she?
Ss: He/She is ... year/years old.
3.Teach the new words.
Ask them to look at the last picture(Jerry) .Look at his head, and look at the birthday cake, they can know today is Jerry’s birthday. Then teach the new word: birthday.
Ask them to look at the word: when (They have learnt)
Ask two students to put them on the blackboard. If they want to know someone’s birthday, they can ask: When is your birthday?
