Step1 . Class Opening and review

1、 Class Opening

   Greeting [激情问候,营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围]

   Good morning/afternoon, class! Where do we live?

2、Review

Ask the questions about Lesson 13.

Does Li Ming love to travel?( Yes , he does.)

Where does he want to go?( He wants to go to Beijing.)

Are there any interesting places there?( Yes , there are.)

What are they? (They are the Palace Museum, Tian’anmen Square and the Great Wall.)

Step2. New Concepts

1、单词及句型练习

(1)他征求妈妈的意见时会怎样说?教师 板书句型 May I…… ?并讲解句意“May I go on a trip to Beijing?”

(2)单词may教学:利用单词卡 用自然拼读法引导学生演示拼读may,由此拓展到单词way, day, hay, play ,bay的读音.

Make sentences with“May I?…… ?

依次教授单词young,come,great

(3)看幻灯片,学生跟着老师做对话练习。(提醒学生注意哭脸和笑脸符号代表的意义)例如:May I go to Mount Huang? Yes, you may. / No, you may not( I’m afraid not).? May I go swimming?? May I go to West?Lake?

(替换词语:read a book, sing a song, write a story, draw a picture, eat an apple, go to Beijing, live in Beijing,…) 。

2. 课文

(1)播放课文录音,让学生一边听一边跟做练习。Listen to the text,Draw a smiling face for “may” and a crying face for “may not”.

(2)跟读课文,找出难以理解的句子。

(2)小组内讨论自学,找出疑难单词和句子,并解决。

(3)小组汇报已解决的单词和句子,还有那些不懂。

(4)教师帮助学生决绝难题。
