Step 1: warming up(Greetings)
a. Hello! Boys and girls! How are you? Are you happy? Now, look out the window. How’s the weather today? I like sunny days.
b. Sing a song: Who’s singing?
Step 2: Leading in
Use my cards to review the verbs: flying, playing, singing, running, dancing, doing. Use my cards to review the sentences: flying a kite, playing football, singing a song, doing tai chi.(评价学生的读音,哪组读得好)
出示单词arrive+ing=arriving(到达)引出新课Lesson7 Arriving in Beijing.
Step 3: presentation
a. Learning new words and sentences:出示课件利用单复数展示新的单词:man---men, a man ---some men ; chid---children, a child---some children;(课件出示man图,What can you see? (课件继续出示句型) This is a man. / One man. 板书:man.课件出示men图, Is this a man? 课件继续出示句型)No,these are men. / some men.拼读men,从音形区别man 与men板书:men)
b. 用同样的形式,课件展示学习woman---women, a woman ---some women .
c. 课件出示boy,girl,baby,child图,What can you see? (课件继续出示句型) This is a boy. / This is a child. / This is a girl./This is a baby.……Who is a boy? Stand up , please. Who is a girl? Stand up , please. Who is a child? The boy is a child. The girl is a child , too. Boys and girls are children. (板书children),拼读children= child + ren .区别child 与children.
d. 课件出示people图, Men, women and children are people.拼读people. (设计意图:通过多媒体课件出示单词直观、形象,能吸引学生的注意力,激发学习兴趣,并在教授单词时展示各个词之间的联系,渗透给学生学习策略)
e. 利用课件图片让学生们自己说句子并让孩子们体会is与are在单复数中的用法:

Some children are playingfootball.
A young woman is singing.
Some old women are dancing.
