1、Greetings
向学生问好，在黑板上写Tian’an men square 。学生对天安门广场有所熟悉。花点时间让学生说说天安门。看看他们知道些什么？快速阅读课文，回答以下问题。幻灯片出示：
Where is Danny?
What is Danny doing there?
What happened to Danny?
2、presentation
(1)on the square
a、教授say、help、worry、sad 、easy、ask、answer。展示每张卡片并读出单词。在黑板上用大个字母边写下边读出来。用夸张的表情展示worry，然后面带微笑说Don’t worry。用同样的方式教授sad。
b、让学生看P22 part 1 。用几分钟观察图片，指着每幅图问：
What’s this？
What are they doing ？
通过问题来帮助学生加深理解。
Eg:
Is tian’an men square big or small ?
Are there many people there ？
What are people doing there ？
