教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1. greetings
Say hello to the students when they enter the classroom. Sing ‘Let’s take a picture’, you and me.. Review the content that has been learned so far. Let students talk about the famous places that they have learned freely . What about the the Palace museum?
And the Tian’anmen Square?
2. text introduction
Let the students open twenty-sixth pages of the textbook. Tell them that we are going to learn the wonder of the world today - the Great Wall. They’ll also learn to follow the traffic rules in the city.
Step 2.Presentation
1.Look at the multimedia to learn the new words.
(1)Look at the pictures and guess the meaning of the words.
(2)Teacher write the new words on the blackboard, read the words and the students repeat.
(3)Playing time (practice the words we’ve learned just now)
2.Learn part 1 On the Great Wall
(1) say: Open your book to page 26, Part 1. pointing to the picture, ask: What is this? What are they doing?
(2) now listen to the tape, follow it.
(3) let three students read the dialogue aloud.
3. Let’s do it!
Let a volunteer to demonstrate the dialogue.
Teacher: Where are Danny, Jenny and Li Ming?
Students: On the Great Wall.
Teacher: How old is the Great Wall?
