(一)Class opening

设计意图:通过对北京名胜古迹图片的回顾旧知识,给学生营造一个愉悦轻松的学习环境,调动学生的旅游兴趣,进而调动了学生的学习积极性。通过口头作文不仅满足了学生的表演欲望还提高了学生的写作能力。
3,Now ,I am a guide. Let us climb the Great Wall. Do you want to go with me? Today ,We will learn Lesson12 A Visit to the Great Wall.(出示长城的图片,不仅激活了学生的民族自豪感,还激活了学生对长城的原有知识,为故事做好了铺垫。)
(二)New lessons

设计意图:为了了解学生对课文的理解和掌握情况,指导学生边读边思考问题,在理解的基础上弄懂内容.
(三)Read in role. Four people read a part.
设计意图:通过分角色朗读,检验学生对课文理解和掌握情况,看学生能否真实地再现出各角色的感情和表情等,以此来培养学生的阅读理解和朗读能力以及学生的表达能力。
(四) Practice

Writing about the Great Wall in your eyes.(写写你眼中的长城这一环节不仅让学生总结了课文还为学生提供了展示作品的舞台。每个人都有自我表现的欲望,小学生更是如此。在英语作文训练中,如果教师能为孩子们提供一个展示他作品的平台,他们的写作兴趣和动力就会大大提高。在这里我安排了将学生所写的小作文张贴在教室的公布栏,让学生共同学习,一起进步。)
