Step 1: Greetings and Review:
Hello, boys and girls! Yesterday I went to the shop. I shopped some fruit. What did you do yesterday? I did my homework. /I had breakfast….
Have—had eat—ate do—did go—went see—saw walk—walled etc
(设计意图:教师日常性场景问候,利用学过的动词检查所学,巩固复习过去时。)
Step 2: Presentation
Lead in: Danny and Jenny are talking about photos of Beijing. Can you guess what happened to Danny? Now let’s look at Danny’s story.
Part I:
1. Questions:
a. Where was Danny? (Picture 1)
b. What happened to Danny? (Picture 2)
c. Was Danny at the Great Wall? Did they feel happy? (Picture 3)
(设计意图:以故事为线索,让学生带问题发现所需答案,并踊跃参与到师生对话中来。)
2. Find past form of the verbs from Part I
was ,were, happened, played, hurt
教师在学生找出这些动词过去式(past form)后,引导学生说出这些词的动词原型(original form)。
(设计意图:检查学生熟练的识别动词过去式变化的规律,并通过教师引导,给出动词的原型,并初步感知was ,were的动词原型。)
