Step 1 Warming up and Revision

Step 4 Post-listening

1. Let the Ss read 1a, find the new words and phrases: electronic, spacesuit, telescope, used to do, use sth. to do sth., advise sb.to do sth., make sb./sth. do sth., make up one’s mind to do sth., add sth. to… Then the students' autonomous learning.

2.Find the attributive clause . Spaceships which now mainly use eletronic controls used to be controlled by astronauts. Study the sentences with attributive clause on the screen to learn Attributive Clause.

1. Let the Ss read 1a again and find out the difficult points and useful expressions. The students discuss them together.
