Step1. Warming up
Greeting: How are you today?
Free talk: What is this ?It is a book. Book is a word , the other words like chair ,pencil,desk… when they are more than one ,we should say chairs ,pencils,desks.
(设计意图Free talk中突破重点词汇word的学习,为学习文本打下基础,学习重点的直接阐述,为学生更积极地参与做准备。)
Step 2. Presentation and Practice
Pencils and chairs
1).T: What is this?
S1: It is a chair.
T: What are these?
S2: These are chair.
T: What is this?
S3: It is a pencil.
T: What are these?
S4: These are pencils .
(设计意图:教师由实物椅子和铅笔的提问进入文本的学习,区别名词的单数和复数的不同,自然过渡。)
2).T:How many pencils do you have?
The teacher will ask a student to talk about a pencil and many pencils. (设计意图:教师进一步讨论铅笔实物如:This is one /a pencil. These are many pencil.为后面的学习做铺垫。)
3).Listen to the tape and ask the students to read along. (设计意图: 通过听力纠正发音)
