First, talk about holidays. Next, talk about Chinese.
T: What holiday is it?
S1: The Dragon Boat Festival.
T: What do you do on the Dragon Boat Festival?
S2: We have dragon boat races and we eat zongzi. 教师引导学生一起谈论学过的许多中国节日。
（设计意图：通过中西方节日对比复习以往学过的中国节日，为引出本课所讲西方节日——圣诞节做好铺垫，并且充分调动了学生学习英语的积极性。）
Step2 New Concepts
1. Talk about Western holidays.
T: In Western, there are also many holidays.
Look! What are they？西方节日的渗透，引出圣诞节单词和课题，教师板书.
（设计意图：通过了解西方节日，感受大环境下中西节日对比，渗透中西方文化差异，引出本节课的主题Christmas is coming.教师板书课题，引导学生自己说出首字母需大写，字母“t”没有发音等注意事项。）
2. Christmas.
