S1: I was born in 2006.
T: How about 2002? Can you guess?

T: The last time 2012.
T: I was a teacher in Tianyuan Primary School in 2012. These are very important times for me.

T: Today we will learn a story about Helen Keller.
T: She also had some important times for her. Now let’s watch the story and find out the times.

T: Now let’s take on the Time Machine to go to the year of 1880. Let’s see what happened?
T: What happened in1880?
S1: Helen Keller was born in the U.S. in 1880.
T: How did Helen feel?
S1: She felt very angry.
T: Why? Please read the text from picture 1-3 and find out this answer.
S1: Because she couldn’t see anything. She couldn’t hear anything. She couldn’t speak at all.
T: Did her parents know how to help her?
T: She couldn’t see anything because she was blind.
T: She couldn’t hear anything because she was deaf.
T: Why did Helen become deaf and blind?
S2: Because when she was 19 months old, she fell ill and became deaf and blind.
T: Now let’s play a game “If I was Helen, I feel…”.
