2. Read quickly and answer.

T: Please read the whole story quickly and answer the questions.

(1) When was she born?

(2) What’s one of her famous books?

(设计意图:学生快速整体阅读文章,找到问题答案,培养学生的寻读能力。)

S1: She was born in 1880.
