Step1 Review and lead-in 复习和导入
Review with pictures in ppt. and ask one student:

T: Do you know…?
S: Yes, it’s a … with…
T: Where is it?
S: It’s lies in…
T: It’s a place which/ that is worth visiting.
S: Yes. Let’s go there this summer vacation.
Ask students to practice this dialog and finish the other 3 dialogs.
要求学生练习此对话并完成其他三组对话。
Then ask students to finish the sentences in 2b. Check.
然后让学生完成2b的五个句子,核对。
Lead students into the new lesson by saying: There are so many places of interests in our China. So it attracts so many tourists to come. As a Chinese, do you know what it is?

Listen to the tape and answer the questions:
What are they mainly talking about?

Give students 2 tasks:
Read the text in groups
Find out the Attributive Clauses in 1a
设置两个任务:对话,找出含有that,which 的定语从句
Ask students to analyze the attributive clauses that they’ve found out.
让学生分析所找出的定语从句。
提示:定语从句是……先行词是……人/物,在句中作……
Step3 Consolidation 巩固
Ask students to finish 1c.
