Step 1: Revision(Part B:Let's talk and let's play)
Ss listen to the tape and make dialogues in pairs. Practice the sentences “Happy birthday to you!/This is for you./How old are you?I'm ...”.For example:
A: Xiaoming, this is my brother, LiSan.
XiaoMing: Hi, LiSan. This is for you. Happy birthday(to you)!
Li San: Thank you.
Xiaoming: How old are you?
Li San: I'm six(years old).
Step 2: Sing the song “Happy birthday to you!”
Because most of them can sing the song, the teacher plays the tape and let them sing the song along with the tape. Finally, the teacher asks some of them to sing the song.
Step 3: Learn the numbers
The teacher shows students the numbers and let them listen to the tape first, then teaches them the numbers with the help of the cards. Be sure that they can understand and repeat the numbers 1~10.
