Teaching procedures
Activity 1 lead in
1) Greeting.
2) let students enjoy an English song Auld Lang Syne, then lead in the new word friendship, the topic I will remember our friendship forever.
3) let students watch a video which is about graduation ceremony , then teach the new words: graduation and ceremony
4) let students talk about what will they do before leaving our school. To finish the task in 2
Activity 2 listening
1) let students listen to 1a and answer the following three questions
What will they do to get ready for the graduation ceremony?
What does Michael think of the final examination?
Will they give speeches at the ceremony?
2) listen again and finish the task in 1b, then check their answers.
Activity 3 find out key points
Let students find out the key points in the conversation and discuss with their partners. Then to explain the key points.
Activity 4 reading and act the dialogue out and retell the conversation.
Activity 5 let students do class exercise ,then summary and homework.
