呈现主题
课件呈现ostrich的图片，让学生观察它的特点。根据图片教授单词big,，small， long， short以及运用句型It has...进行描述。如： It has a body. It’s so big. 引出 It has a big body.教师板书并带读单词long, short, big, small和句子“It has...”。
2. 呈现更多动物的图片。教师运用句型It has...描述动物，从而引导学生运用It has...句型描述图片中的动物。如： Look at the tiger. It has a short tail. It has two big eyes. Now, can you talk about the other animals? 对说得好的学生进行表扬和奖励。
3. 学生回到Let’s learn 部分课本，让学生带着问题听听力，小组讨论回答问题后分小组角色扮演。如： What does John say about the ostrich? What does Chen Jie say about the ostrich?
