1. Today we will learn Unit 5 Do you like pears? Write the title on the blackboard. Teach Ss to read.

2.present: Boys and girls ,Today there’ll be a story for you, it’s about the monkey. The monkey is hungry, he wants to eat fruits. So he goes to pick fruits.

3. ppt show the picture: Wow ,so many oranges. Then teach the word :orange /oranges

1) use the sounds to lead in o /?/ hot , box ,orange ,Ss try to read the word, Teacher guide to read .

2)Ask some Ss to read or, to be a teacher to teach other Ss.

3) Show two oranges ,teach :oranges

4)Put the word in the sentence: Do you like oranges? Yes, I do .No, I don’t. Ss fallow to read and then make Ss to understand the sentences.

5)practice the sentence.

6) Use thinking map to guide Ss to say more about orange. Like: orange juice, green orange , sweet orange ,big orange and so on.

4. Now let’s go and see: Does the monkey like the oranges? Go back to the story. Guide Ss to read the sentences . Hi monkey. Do you like oranges? Yes, I do. I like oranges.

5. ppt show another picture: Look , monkey sees so many apples. Teach the new word :apple/apples

6.Use the same way to teach apple/apples, pear/pears,banana/bananas.

7.Use a chant to practice the new words and sentences.
