Step1. Lead-in

Revise the words from one to ten.

Ask students some questions by the sentence pattern: How many … do you see?

Step2: Presentation

Present the numeral words from eleven to fifteen by using pictures of different kinds of fruits.

Present the word “eleven” by using a picture of pears.

Present the word “twelve” by using a picture of bananas.

Present the word thirteen by addition question.

Present the word “fourteen” by using a picture of oranges.

Present the word “fifteen” by using a picture of watermelons.

Step 3. Practice

Play a game to practise the pronunciation of important words.

Have a test to check if the students master the words learned in this period.

Let’s chant
