Tell the students they are required to write a notice for Club Fair.
Ask Ss. to read a notice for English Week. And guide them how to write a notice with the help of a spidergram, some sentence structures and linking words.
Step 2 While-writing
Ask Ss. to write a short paragraph about their own club in the language of notice.(3 mins)
4 students in a group put their short passage into a full notice and correct some mistakes according to the Scoring Criteria.(5 mins)
Choose 3 notices of different levels for presentation and teacher makes a comment
Ask students to read their writing aloud together in group.
Students rewrite the whole notice on the their Student Sheet.(If time permitted)
Step 3 Post-writing
Conclude what they have learnt today—how to write a notice.
