教学过程:

Step 1. Warm-up and lead-in

1. Listen to the song “short vowel song”.

【设计意图:以上环节实际上是我校推行的课前2分钟活动,通过唱短元音之歌,不仅活跃课堂气氛,而且还为后面的学习单词运用语音埋下了伏笔。】

2. Let’s guess.

T: There is a place. There is a blackboard, a computer, a teacher’s desk, many desks and chairs. There are so many students. What’s it?

S1: Classroom.

T: Guess another one. There is such a warm place. There is father, mother, brother, sister and me. There is much love. What’s it?

Ss: 家

(Then show the word “home” and Ss read the word “home” with phonics, by the way lead in the topic of Unit 4.

【设计意图:通过猜教室和家两个场所活动,引入home,导入本单元主题。】

Step 2. Presentation

1. Teach “study” and “kitchen”

a. T: This is Amy’s home. Where is Amy?

Ss:书房.

T: So she’s in the study.(课件出示study一词,学生使用自然拼读法phonics 来学习新词)

Ss: Lead and reapeat.

T: Make sentences.

Ss: Make one by one.( This is a ___./ It’s a ___./ I like ____./…)

b.T: Amy has a cat. Where is it?(用同样的方法来学kitchen一词,并造句。)
