1、Review(复习)首先提问“How many people are there in your family? My family has people.they are my . ”引入家庭的学习,利用family tree复习本单元学习的有关家庭成员的单词“parents uncle aunt cousin baby brother”顺势提问句型“What’s his job? What’s her job?”引入职业的复习
2、利用“My is a .”复习职业单词“farmer driver doctor cook nurse ” 让学生在图片的帮助下仿照示例范句,自由组合句型,完成对职业的复习。
3 、引入新课,从职业着手。
三、Preseatation and practice
活动一: A funny family
T:Zhang peng has a happy family ,Look this is his father ,Do you know his job?(职业入手),如果学生回答不上了,借助姚明让学生理解词义,引入单词“basketball player”教授单词。并通过问题“What’s he like?”进入对其外貌特征的描写,并适时板书“He is and ,He is a .”
出示其mother 的形象,(高且强壮)同步描述其外貌特征及其职业(cook)板书
“She﹨He is and ,She﹨He is a .”
“no job”适时出示男孩的形象,(矮且强壮,身边有一个篮球)提问:“What’s his job? Is he a basketball player?”No,he is a student,He has no job.训练“No job”
综合训练,出示三个人物的图片,做一个“Talk show”practice in pairs.
活动二:出示文本内容,强化阅读训练,完成判断。
出示:look ,this is john’s family,(read and write)将文本内容出示在幻灯片上。
阅读训练Step1:Read for yourself
Step2:listen to the tape twice.
Step3:follow the tape.(重视语音、语调、语感的训练和掌握)
Read and tick or cross
出示学习要求,让学生独立完成其中的两项和合作完成第三项。附要求:
1、熟练朗读含有John’s mother ,John’s father,his uncle,his aunt的句子,用横线画出。(self-study)
2、Tick (√)or cross(×).( self-study )
3、Communicate the answers (交流答案)(in pairs)
注:完成第三项时,如果答案是错误,教师要适时提问,“What’s his job? What’s her job?”
设计意图:在活动二的训练中重点训练学生在语境中按照意群朗读文段中的核心句型。通过各种形式的朗读训练,让学生突破本课时的难点。并设计Read and tick or cross环节巩固和拓展文本。
活动三:Look and write.(借助吴一凡的家庭,训练孩子们对外貌特征以及职业的描述)
