Step 1. Warming up

1.Review: Can you read these numbers quickly?

2.Sharp eyes: Which one is missing?

3.Show Time:Sing a song.

4.Travelling Time

在此部分可以复习到本单元中出现的几个较难读的地名和国家名。再次复习句型:What time is it?

Step 2.Presentation

Listen to the tape carefully and read after it.

PPT出示John’s day and Mike’s day.

出示第一张图片:

T:What time is it?

Ss:It’s 7 o’clock. It’s time for breakfast.

(复习breakfast,师领读,生跟读。然后找学生在黑板上拼写出来。)

同样方法复习单词dinner、lunch、go to school、go home、go to bed.

Step 3.Extention

T:Now listen to me carefully. Hello, everyone! My name is Miss Deng!It’s 7 o’clock. It’s time for breakfast. Who want to have a try? You have 2 minutes to practise.(请学生到讲台前表演,用闹钟拨时间,并仿照例句来说一说。)

Movie time

T:Let’s have a short rest. How about enjoying a movie? Look! The fox and the crow are best friends. One day there is something funny between them……

(学生欣赏由学生自演的小品。小品内容充分体现第二单元的重点句型和重点词汇。)

Step4. Summary

T: Do you know some proverb about time?

PPT出示:Time is gold and money can’t buy time.学生齐读翻译:一寸光阴一寸金,寸金难买寸光阴。以此加深学生的时间观念,让他们意识到时间的重要性,做一个遵时、守时的人。

Step 5. Homework

和同桌一起设计一天的Time Table(时间表),并和同桌一起进行问答练习.

附:

Crow:Oh,What time is it now(现在)? 7:30? It’s late for school! Hurry up(快点儿)!
