单元故事是选读部分，文中出现了生词must be, shoot, missed, join，根据上下文学生应该可以理解，读音上会有一定难度。可通过跟读、看视频、小组合作等活动突破难点，故事旨在提高学生的学习兴趣，巩固所学知识，能理解故事大意。
目标预设

四、重难点预设
1. 故事中出现了must be, shoot, missed, join，根据上下文学生应该可以理解，读音上会有一定难度。但不做过多的解释，学生能理解意思就可以，尽量掌握读音，不做硬性要求。
2. 在表演上，进行团队合作，鼓励后进生的参与。
五、评价设计
利用多媒体，通过听音、跟读，正确朗读故事。

一、热身/复习（Warm-up/Revision)
1.Sing a song: Who’s your teacher?
2.Revision: 出示老师图片进行单词的复习；
3.My____ teacher.小组内描述一个自己的老师，但不说出名字，让其他小组根据描述猜出所描述的是哪位老师。
二、呈现新课 （Presentation)
1. Look at the picture.(出示故事图片)
教师提问：What can you see in the picture?学生对图片进行描述，对故事背景有大概了解。
2. 学生猜一猜新体育老师是什么样子。
New PE teacher: Zoom, Zip, Dog and Elephant will have a new PE teacher. What’s he like? Can you guess?
3. Read and act sentence by sentence:
Our new PE teacher will come today! 讲解will
Really? What’s he like?
I only know he’s a good football player. 讲解only
