2. Sing a song: Letters song

Ⅱ Lead-in

1. Ss tell the sounds of the letters, then read the word “ Saturday”.

T ask “What do you do on Saturdays?”

S: I on Saturdays.

2. Ss guess the letters from the sounds, read the word “ Sunday”.

Tell Sunday 的由来。

Ss do a pair work: A: What do you do on Sundays? B: I on Sundays.

Ⅲ Presentation

1. Monday: Guess from two pictures “ flag raising ceremony” and “ ten minutes class meeting”

Present WuYifan’s Syllabus and ask two questions: How many classes does Wu Yifan have on Mondays? What are they?

2. Tuesday: Sep1st is Monday, Which day is Sep 2nd? Present Tuesday, T asks Ss “ What do you have on Tuesdays?”

3. Thursday: Present two pictures of “ rabbit dancing”, then Ss dance together. And guess “It’s Thursday”.

4. Wednesday: Present pictures of “ Wednesday interest classes”and guess. Then do a pairwork “A: What do you have on Wednesdays? B:I have…”.

5. Friday: Let Ss listen to the music of “ The voice of China” and guess “Friday”. Talk about Friday and their favorite singer.
