三、Teaching Steps:

Step I:Greeting

T: Boys and girls ,Good morning /afternoon !T:How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine! And you?

T:I’m fine.too.

T: What’s the weather like today ?

Ss: It’s sunny and hot.

T:We are having English class.What can we do in English class?

Ss: We can read and write.

T:We can sing English songs,let’s sing together!(设计意图:轻松的谈话,缓解课堂紧张气氛)

Step II:Leading-in

2.sing a song: What can we do?

3.Sharp eyes.(Review the learned phrases)

Play the pipa, do kung fu, sing English songs...

3.猜谜语(利用谜语导入引出故事的人物snake和rat,让学生猜一猜:What will happen when they meet?

(设计意图:创设情境,给孩子留悬念,任务驱动,调动孩子们的学习积极性。)

Step III:Presentation

1.Pre-reading (初读,整体感知内容)

T: OK, now let’s watch this cartoon. But then answer these questions after watching the cartoon, OK? (课件呈现问题)

Q: What happens ?

Ss choose the right answer.

2.While-reading

Read Again (再读,了解故事梗概)

T: It’s amazing, how did the rat run away , now let’s read it again .呈现问题:

Q1:What can the rat do ?

Ss give the answers after reading the story.

T: You may try to find out the key words and circle them, shall we?(设计意图:教师在学生阅读是给处阅读方法建议,培养孩子阅读短文能力,以及从短文中提取重要信息的能力。)
