Step I: Warm-up & lead-in
Greet the students and ask them to read a girl’s English name: Jane. (It is designed to review the sound of a-e, which also says A .)
Enjoy and follow the chant: lazy Jane
(The chant can arouse the students’ interest and also have the students sense the sound of ai.)
Step II. Presentation
The pair vowel “ai”
After listening to the song, the teacher will ask the students:
