Step 1 Warm-up&Lead-in

Round 1 Sharp eyes

Flash the words quickly and have the Ss say the words.

Round 2 Brain storm

Have the Ss say the words of adjectives and rooms.

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1. Present “Your room is really...”

① Show 4 pictures of the rooms and have the Ss describe the room one by one. (Sarah, Amy, John, Wu Yifan)

Emphasize “really”

②Show 2 pictures of the rooms and have the Ss guess “which is Zhang Peng’s room?”

Present “Let’s try.”

①T: Both are Zhang Peng’s rooms. Because he just moved into a new house. Sarah and Mike also want to visit his new house. Let’s go with them.

②Check the answer

③Have the Ss practice the sentence “There is a computer.” one bye one.

④ Have the Ss guess “What else in Zhang Peng’s room?”

⑤ Have the Ss watch the video and check the answer.

Present " There is a … in/on/under/near …"

① Show the pictures of the old room and new room and Have the Ss find more differences.

② Zhang Peng’s photo

T: Who’s on the photo? What can he do? Zhang Peng wants to show you. Let’s watch.

Present “Wow! You look cool. Zhang Peng is here …”

① Show the picture of Zhang Peng and have the Ss describe the pictures one by one.

T: Where is Zhang Peng?
