Step One:Warm-up

1.课前热身:Talk about Robin. PPT 出示图片

2. Good to know about the English teacher.

导入语 T:Children, I’m your English teacher. Here?is?some information about me.

3. Guess: Which one?is?not?

Step Two: Presentation

Show the picture, then ask:

Who is he? Why is he unhappy? You can guess.

Open the books, turn to Page53,read the title, look at the screen. Question: What is this? Who is it from? Who is it to?

Read the text by themselves, circle the new words.

Write down the words on the blackboard, try to read.

Read the text again, then answer the questions:

Where does Mr Jones live? What’s in the room?

Listen to the tape and read after it.

Read in group.

Introduce your room, then write three sentences.

Step Three: Consolidation
