Step 1. Warming-up

1 Greetings.

2 Chant.

Step 2 Presentation

1 Lead in.

T : What an interesting chant. Today we’ll have a party. There is an international culture exchange activity in our school.I can say rap. You see: Look around the club, what do I say, everybody rock inside, side to the beat.

Now, you’ll join us. What can you do for the party?

2 Oh, look, Zhang peng and Chen jie are here. What can they do for the party? Can you guess?

3 Now, I need your help. There are many missing words. Can you help me to find out them?Let’s listen again. You can take down some notes.

4 Learn to sing.

5 Sing in groups and show out.

Step 3 Consolidation

1 Look at the words in red. Do you know other phrases? Please talk in groups and we’ll have a competition.

2 Can you help these phrases find out the right house? Do you know the difference between these two houses?

4 Sentences:

T：Can you dance? S ： Yes,I can. ﹨No,I can’t.(开火车)

T:Can you do any kung fu? SA: No, I can’t. T: What can you do?SA: I can ____.T: Can you ask one in next group? SA: What can you do ? SB: I can _____. T: Now ask others what can he﹨she do?. SA: What can he﹨she do? SS: She﹨He can _____. (组内问答）

最后一位同学问老师: What can you do?T: I can sing English songs. And I also can do many things . Can you guess? (引导学生用句型Can you ______?引出中国传统文化：京剧、快板)

Can you sing?2组唱问，2组回答。Can you sing in other melody? 给出示范，如两只老虎的伴奏等。

Step 4 Creation.

1 Make a new song and show out.。

2 Evaluation and homework. The best group can show out on the stage, the others can be the audience. Let’ go to the party.
